Curl Reset: $200+
Comprehensive appointment for first timers, designed to restore balance, shape and confidence in your curls. This service includes a consultation, customized curl cut, curl mapping, deep condition and finished style.
Curl Reset Consult: $15
Unsure what you or your hair are looking for, or would like to connect before booking? This consultation allows us to chat first. Should you choose to book an appointment afterward, your deposit will be applied to your service. (Same day appointments are not guaranteed)
Color Consult: $20
All new clients must have an initial color consultation to discuss hair history and what you are looking to do. The actual color service will be booked at the end of the consultation or at your convenience. The deposit will be applied to the service agreed upon.

Curl Refresh: $140+
A full curl cut for returning clients focused on maintaining shape, refining layers and supporting long term hair health.
Express Touch Up Cut:$70+
For clients who have been serviced within the last 3 months and want to freshen up their initial cut. (One express touch up cut is permitted per regular curl cut)

Single Process: $200+
Roots to end color.
Root Retouch: $100+
Grey coverage or retouching single process color.
Dimensional Brunette: $300+
This service includes a base color along with any highlights or lowlights needed to achieve your ideal brunette tone. Note: If you are brunette and looking to go lighter overall please book a Highlight.
Dimensional Red/Copper: $300+
A full transformation within the red tone family, base color and any highlights or lowlights needed to deliver the red you are looking to achieve.
Creative Color: $450+
Vibrant fantasy hues and distinctive color blocking like calico patterns, tailored to bring your unique aesthetic vision to life. A consultation is required prior to service, and both time and pricing may vary based on the complexity and products used, with all details discussed beforehand.
Full Highlight: $370+
Your look will be customized using techniques such as freehand balayage, pintura or traditional foiling to best achieve your desired result.
Partial Highlight: $250+
Full highlight retouch
Face Framing Highlights: $150+
Looking for a little pop of lightness surrounding your face.

Wash and Curly Style: $70+
Hair is styled curly with product and diffused. Cut is not included.
Blow Dry: $65+
Shampoo, condition and smooth blow dried finished. Thermal tools are additional cost.
Finger Coils: $60+
Coils are created using finger or comb and set to air dry or under dryer
Braid Prep: $90+
Shampoo, scalp treatment, deep condition and two natural hair braids or twists to prepare for long term braids.

Stand alone treatments and deep conditioning do not include a dried, finished style unless added on.

OWNER/CURL SPECIALIST
Kat’s curl journey inspired her to help others embrace their natural texture. After years of damaging and suppressing her hair, she reconnected with her curls in college—giving herself haircuts to avoid a salon setting, experimenting with DIY treatments, and researching healthy curl care. After gathering the courage to get her hair professionally cut, she received yet another disappointing haircut, feeling misunderstood and her hair treated as unruly and hard to work with; she decided to take matters into her own hands, which led her to cosmetology school with a mission: guide others through their curl journeys with compassion and care.

POlicies
Cancellations
We deeply value you and your time and ask the same respect for ours and that of other clients. We understand life happens, so if you need to cancel or running late for any reason, please reach out as soon as possible so we can do my best to accommodate you.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your appointment: No Charge
Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment: 50% of the service cost
Cancellations made within 24 hours or same day: 100% of the service cost
Late
A 15-minute grace period honored if you are running late. Please let us know as soon as you’re made aware and provide a estimated arrival time and we will always do our best to try to make it work. After 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to complete your service. In that case, it will be treated as a same-day cancellation and subject to the fee listed above.
No-Show
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the total servicecost and a 50% deposit will also be required to book any future appointments.
Guests
Zig Zag is a private studio with limited space, it is kindly requested that you do not bring guests to your appointment. For minors, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Refunds & Corrective Services
All services are non-refundable. However, We are more than happy to correct any service free of charge if the issue was due to an error on the part of the service provider. This does not apply to cases where you may have changed your mind after the service has been performed.
We are committed to do everything within our expertise to help you achieve your desired outcome. If you are unhappy with your results, please reach out within 48 hours of your appointment so that you can be scheduled for a complimentary corrective service.
Please note:
A corrective service cannot be offered more than 7 days past your original appointment date.
It’s important to reach out as soon as possible if you are dissatisfied so the issue can be addressed immediately
Previously using box hair color on your own time or going from darker to lighter tones may result in multiple sessions to safely achieve your desired result.
Online Booking
A credit card is required to book a appointment and will be kept on file for future appointments and any fees that may be incurred.

While all textures are welcomed, this salon has been digentially curated for my curly people who never had place that focused on their texture! The goal is to create a space where your hair is understood and respected, a place where knowledge and open conversation about all things curly (or not) can flow freely. Whether you are a veteran to the curl game, just beginning your journey or simply curious to see what your natural texture is capable of, this space was created for you.

Nope! We fully understand that no strand, no curl, texture or lifestyle is the same or uniform. Various cutting techniques are utilized to customize each haircut that works for you, your curls and your texture and your desired goals.

It is ideal to come with your hair down and loose, free of sticky products, no buns or ponytails is preferred. Even if we decide to do just a dry cut, a wash and style is included. Please no high collared shirts, turtlenecks or hoodies.

There is free street parking on Berks and various other streets, along with unpaid 2 hour parking. Make sure you look for signs of possible time limited parking if your visiting the salon for a longer service, such as most color services as PPA will ticket you.

I require a deposit for consultations that will be applied to the service we decide on at checkout. I also require a deposit for hair for extensions services.
